This room accommodates up to thirty children and is staffed by two teachers. It is an all day program that is planned around a series of themes calculated to challenge the cognitive, social and emotional growth of the children. They are encouraged to explore science and mathematics (Math Their Way) in the world around them through hands-on experiences. Pre-reading skills are reinforced through a whole language approach.

Independent learning games and creative art experiences are integrated into all aspects of the curriculum.

The primary goal of the program is to use developmentally appropriate activities to instill self-confidence and to encourage creativity and cooperation in a classroom situation, thus preparing the child for the more structured first grade year ahead.

One day per week is set aside for “show and tell". On this day only, the child is permitted to bring in an item for this purpose.

In good weather the children go outside two times per day. Your child should be appropriately dressed for the season. A one-half hour rest is scheduled, which is a mandatory State requirement.

Tuition is based on a student enrolled full time. A half-day would be considered a 4-hour day.  Any time over four hours is considered a full day. There is an additional charge for afternoon pick-up from public school and space is limited.

For part time, we cannot accommodate Tuesday-Wednesday-Thursday schedules. A late fee will be charged in 15-minute increments for any pick-up after 6:00 P.M.
